We are very happy to share the Real Weddings Magazine editorial on Amber & Tyler’s Destination Wedding in Mexico. It was a pleasure working on this destination wedding and making it elegant and glamorous. There are two kinds of weddings, according to Tara Thorp, principal planner with Forever True Wedding Planning and Design. There are local weddings, which are about the couple, and then there are destination weddings, which are about the guests. “Destination weddings are more about the romance of the location, not necessarily about the location itself,” says Tara. One challenge with getting the elegance and glam that Amber wanted was the uncertainty of vendors in Mexico. To get around that, Tara brought everything she could from Vancouver. “I brought the paper and stationery, even the linens. Basically, if I could get it in a tote-bag, it came with me,” says Tara.

For several reasons, our favorite season is the summer season! Not only do June, July and August bring the sunshine, cute dresses and water sports but they also bring our favorite thing, Weddings! We are so excited to be welcoming our favorite L.A. based frozen yogurt shop Pinkberry to Canada. Last week I sat down with Ken Thicke, the Mastermind behind Pinkberry in all of Western Canada. I was able to ask him a few questions about himself and this amazing product that he has decided to bring to us lucky Canadians.
FT: We are so excited to hear that Pinkberry is coming to Vancouver! Can you tell us a little bit about the company and where we will be able to find it?

Pomegranate, a bold and tangy flavor made with 100 percent California-grown pure pomegranate juice. Coconut, smooth and subtle, made with real coconut puree for a fresh and cool finish. Our rich and indulgent Chocolate flavor. Mango, a fruity and light flavor made with authentic Alphonso mango puree for a soothing finish, and Watermelon, a crisp and refreshing flavor perfect for summer.
FT: Why did you choose to get involved with Pinkberry?
KT: I wanted to be part of something special. Pinkberry provided that unique product that is in a leadership position within the category. FT: What are your favorite Pinkberry toppings?
